• A.T. CROSS releases promotional set for Christmas cinema release

        • A.T. CROSS and London-based all-rights film distribution company, Thunderbird Releasing have partnered to create a promotional Cross Classic Century Fountain Pen and Ink Bottle Gift Set. The set is inspired by the upcoming film, The Man Who Invented Christmas, which will be released in cinemas across the country on 1st December.

The Man Who Invented Christmas tells of the journey that led to the creation of Ebenezer Scrooge (Christopher Plummer), Tiny Tim and other classic characters from A Christmas Carol. Directed by Bharat Nalluri (Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day), the film shows how Charles Dickens (Dan Stevens) mixed real life inspirations with his vivid imagination to conjure up unforgettable characters and a timeless tale, forever changing the Christmas season into the celebration we know today.

Inspired by the film, this fountain pen gift set has been designed as the perfect gift for those who love to write. Hearkening to the past, this writing instrument is based on Cross’ legendary Classic Century profile. Its black finish is accented with 23CT gold-plate appointments and a quill emblem on the clip inspired by Dicken’s use of a quill feather to write his story. Its nib adapts to your touch during use creating a personalised writing experience.

The Cross Classic Century Fountain Pen and Ink Bottle Gift Set priced at £80 is available for purchase on www.cross.com and in select retail and specialty stores.

The Man Who Invented Christmas will open in cinemas nationwide on 1st December. For more information, visit: http://themanwhoinventedchristmas.co.uk
