• BT adds Salesforce to its ‘Cloud of Clouds’ vision

        •

Launching in the U.S and then in Europe in February this year, BT corporate customers will be able to enjoy its Salesforce connection directly through BT Cloud Connect, BT’s high-performance connectivity to cloud services.

As part of their ‘Cloud of Clouds’ vision, the new venture marks a milestone, enabling customers to benefit from reliable performance with dedicated connectivity.

Keith Langridge, VP of Network Services at BT Global Services said, “organisations look to the cloud to help them manage and access the vast amounts of valuable data they hold, including the crucial customer data at the core of their business. Our vision for a ‘Cloud of Clouds’ makes it easier for organisations to embrace the cloud by providing direct, secure and high performance connectivity to the applications hosted in the cloud.”

The Salesforce Customer Success Platform was born from the Cloud and proves to be a critical need for many organisations. Andrew Lawson, MD of Salesforce for UK & Ireland said, “companies are transforming the way they connect with customers, partners and employees to thrive in today’s connected world. BT is accelerating this sift for its customers with the addition of Salesforce to its ‘Cloud of Cloud’s’ vision.”

As large organisations move more of their applications to the cloud they are now looking for connectivity options that reduce risk and come with assured performance and BT’s ‘Cloud for Clouds’ allows customer to connect easily and securely to their data anywhere in the world.
