• Canon completes third generation, 3rd edition imageRUNNER ADVANCE portfolio

        • Canon Europe has launched the imageRUNNER ADVANCE C475, an all-in-one cartridge-based A4 colour printer. The new device strengthens Canon’s third generation, 3rd edition portfolio with a high-speed colour offering.

The company is also announcing upgrades to the imageRUNNER ADVANCE 525, 615 and 715 which strengthens its existing cartridge proposition by delivering improvements to productivity, usability, and security. Completing the 3rd edition line up, the devices also benefit from the latest Unified Firmware Platform, uniFLOW Online Express and enhanced security credentials.

Adam Poole, DS Marketing Director Canon UK Ltd said, “productivity is at the heart of everything we do. We’ve been supplying all-in-one cartridge technology for decades, so we’re very proud of our newly strengthened award-winning 3rd edition portfolio which reduces downtime with the smooth replacement of consumables. Our A4 colour imageRUNNER ADVANCE C475 combines the best of Canon’s advanced technology and quality printing every single time.”

For industries that typically deal with heavy workloads, such as law and finance, Canon promises accelerated business with this high-performance portfolio, gaining the fast, quality colour print you’d expect from its existing A3 MFP range with a more compact footprint and a smaller investment.

Working closely with its customers, Canon is continually evolving the imageRUNNER ADVANCE platform to meet market needs and maximise uptime. The all-in-one cartridge system for these devices makes toner replacement quick, simple and waste-free thanks to an automatic winding mechanism. Users can also access a quick ‘how to’ video on the home screen for even further simplification.

The enhanced cloud connectivity, user experience and security features introduced with the launch of the third generation, 3rd edition platform in February have also been incorporated into these latest devices, delivering a consistent, user-friendly and secure experience across our entire portfolio - even when working within a mixed fleet.

          Notable highlights include:

          • Compatibility with third-party Security Information Event Management (SIEM) solutions, ensuring security is taken care of across your device network
          • The highly intuitive home user interface
          • Native uniFLOW Online Express for easy print, scan and trackability with built-in cloud connectivity
