Digital business services provider, Columbus, has announced the successful deployment of Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations for flower distributor, Interflora. The new solution will support Interflora’s 24/7 sundry product distributions to over 1,200 independent florists using Columbus-developed integration routines that connect directly to a third-party logistics provider.
Interflora selected the recently-launched Columbus eCommerce solution to add new functionality to its front-end web presence. Columbus eCommerce, which fully integrates with Microsoft Dynamics 365, allows Interflora to offer preferential rates to florists with different levels of membership through the new dynamic webstore.

Interflora will use Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations to manage and enhance business processes including warehousing, stock control and purchase orders, and improve the supply chain between Interflora’s third-party logistics provider and independent florists. Columbus will also provide training support packages to ensure Interflora employees enjoy a smooth transition to the new system.
