Konica Minolta is a headline sponsor of The London Technology Week Arena which takes place June 16-18 at ExCel.
The London Technology Week Arena is the flagship event of London Technology Week which takes place across the capital from June 15-21. Now in its second year, the week is all about celebrating London’s global position as a hotbed of tech innovation, business successes, entrepreneurship and creative talent.
Part of Interop London, London Technology Week Arena will see Konica Minolta showcase a number of leading-edge innovations currently being progressed via its Business Innovation Centre function. The Business Innovation Centre team are wholly focussed on initiating, supporting and managing new business and technology development, as well as on incubating (taking an innovation idea through a stage gate process) new ICT service businesses that will deliver economies of scale, transformation and agility.
On show on Stand Number IOP310 will be a number of new concepts and prototypes including: a platform which enables a truly collaborative environment, one where individuals could simultaneously interact via multi-touch interfaces, with intuitive pasting, grouping and tagging; a lightweight wearable optical device which incorporates 3D-holographic elements to enhance the depth of images presented; an augmented reality solution that brings documents to life and a futuristic innovation as a service platform that enables new ideas to be generated, developed and communicated.
At the event, on Wednesday June 17, Dr. Dennis Curry, VP & Director of Business Innovation and R&D Europe, Konica Minolta, will also share his thought leadership during a panel debate entitled: How can we speed up the transition from start-up to scale up? What investment and funding is needed? In addition, Dr. Curry will also deliver a speech on the ”Genius of Things” considering Internet of Things at midday, 18 June.
Commenting on the event Curry said: “We are very excited to be a part of this event which celebrates London as a hotbed of tech talent. Our approach to creating innovative business breakthroughs is through collaboration and co-innovation and we look forward to engaging with visitors, exploring new ideas for new technologies that will deliver real business transformation, in areas that include the digital workplace, information automation and sensing, business technologies and digital healthcare.”
