Lyreco has been awarded the Platinum medal by Ecovadis, a provider of business sustainability ratings. The assessment covers the actions and results achieved in the fields of environment, labour and human rights, sustainable procurement, and ethics.
The Platinum medal is the highest level of recognition and Lyreco ranks in the top one per cent of the 65,000 companies rated each year worldwide by Ecovadis. Lyreco was recognised for its engagement with suppliers on reducing the company’s impact on the environment, including all Lyreco product manufacturers in risk countries being audited each year by recognised audit firms, directly on-site, as well as sustainability accounting for a quarter of the ratings of Lyreco’s supplier performance improvement programme.
Grégory Liénard, CEO at Lyreco Group said, “We are extremely proud of this Ecovadis Platinum medal. It is great recognition for the work we have engaged in to deliver sustainably what any workplace needs. Corporate responsibility is at the core of our values, in addition to our Circular Economy pledge for 2025.
“We are aware that businesses and industries need greater support and influence to reduce the environmental footprint of their workplace, which is why we are working closely with our suppliers to ensure we can offer sustainable products and services to help them achieve this while meeting our own targets.”
