Having announced earlier this month, the Royal Mail's plans to change prices of franked mail, Neopost now can confirm new prices for UK stamps, coming into effect on 29th March.
Having considered the impact price changes will have on customers, Royal Mail have settled on a 1p price rise for First Class, Second Class, and Large Letter stamps. A First Class stamp will now be 64p and Second Class 55p.
From a recent survey, Royal Mail's stamp prices remain the best value in Europe with the European average for First Class costing 78p and Second Class 64p. The UK is also believed to have the highest quality specification of any major European country which includes Germany, France, Spain, and Italy.
Franking and account channel price changes will be announced soon.
