Xerox names Darren Cassidy as MD
Xerox has announced the appointment of Darren Cassidy as Managing Director for the UK and Ireland. He previously worked as Vice President, Offer and Business Development for Xerox Managed Print Services, a position he assumed in January 2012 following ten years in leadership roles at Xerox.
In his new position Cassidy will oversee expansion of the company's large enterprise organisation, and explore growth strategies that support Xerox's transformation into a services-led, technology driven company.
He says: "Today, managed and centralised print services can help business intelligently organise information from both paper and electronic sources, and make it more readily available to office, + and I look forward to exploring how our services can simplify how they get their work done."
In his previous role, Cassidy was instrumental in the successful launch and global roll out of Xerox's managed print service offering among its channel partners, accrediting 600 partners globally in just three years.
He replaces Alan Charnley, who held country manager roles in Netherlands, Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East, India, Russia and Africa at Xerox for ten years.
"Darren has a superb track record in business management and sales coupled with a strong business acumen in both services and technology," Charnley says. "I am confident his appointment will help us further advance our services-led growth initiatives."
