Adaptive IT Solutions has been named as the successful bidder for a tender issued by Northampton General Hospital (NGH) via the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU), for cabling and peripheral services to run for 3 years with the option of a 2 year extension.
Through a series of quality control assurance work, along with developing a sustainable cost model for both parties, the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) announced its decision on the 11th July 2017. A number of contractors, both local and national responded to the tender and NGH shortlisted 6 potential partners.
The work will involve all Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6a and fibre optic installations ranging from adds, moves, changes, new builds and project work along with the supply of associated data racks and peripherals.
The contract value is estimated at £1m, allowing Adaptive IT Solutions to continue to invest in supporting the NHS locally and nationally as well as keeping people employed in the town.
