A new show room with roof terrace, located on Albemarle Road, will open on 1st November, enabling Casca, a manufacturer of quality glass noticeboards, and Boards Direct to be at the forefront of the creative industries by giving designers and specifiers easy access to their products.
To celebrate the launch of the new premises, the pair are also working with the world's biggest whiteboard brand Nobo as exclusive resellers of its new 'widescreen' range of boards during November.
Paul Pinder, Chairman at Boards Direct said, "this is a major investment for a company of our size and it is the first time we have had premises outside of Nottingham in which to showcase our products.
"The move will ensure our name is front of mind for designers who are searching for quality products, as they will be available to visit the show room to better understand the look and feel of our product range.
"We've also full refurbished the premises so that we can use the space, particularly the outdoor terrace, for events and networking, helping us to build stronger links with the creative community based here.
"It will also enable us to continue the rapid growth Boards Direct has achieved over the last eight years and as a result of this investment we have also created two new jobs, one for a show room manager and one for a London-based sales executive."
The new Nobo widescreen whiteboards are designed with end consumers in mind and benefit from a more expansive surface for optimal viewing, a slimmer frame to allow more writing space and the same sizing as any other screen.
David Richardson, Country Manager UK & Ireland, ACCO UK Ltdadded, "ACCO Brands is delighted to be partnering with Boards Direct and we are looking forward to displaying our newest and latest Nobo products at the exclusive launch event on the 1st November. With a contemporary, minimalist design and unique mounting system, our new Nobo boards are perfect for the modern, clutter free office of today."
