Brother has launched four new models in its ADS scanner range, designed to improve productivity and efficiency of document capture for professionals in the legal, education, healthcare, and insurance sectors.
The new models (ADS-2400N, ADS-2800W, ADS-3000N and ADS-3600W), follow on from Brothers launch of the PDS-flatbed range at the end of last year, enabling companies to scan a wide range of media quickly in high volume.
The new scanners allow companies to scan documents such as contracts or extensive paper files without being directly linked to a PC. This means that sharing documents can be better achieved and the added keyword search feature, means documents can be traced quickly, reducing the cost and space taken up with manual storage.
Salim Hasan, Technical Product Manager at Brother said, “given that scanning can be so central to day-to-day work as well as significant archiving projects, increasing efficiency and productivity is a key part of what end-users seek from scanner solutions to migrate the extensive time needed to complete these tasks. As such this has been a central part of our design of these new models.”
Key Features:
Two-sided scanning
Near field communication (NFC) on ADS-3600W
One-touch programmable scanning
Advanced image processing
Enable wireless printing
Ideal for offices with BYOD (Bring-Your-Own-Device) scheme – scanning directly to mobile devices
Integrate with existing document management software with TWAIN drivers and KOFAX compatibility.
Brother’s Solutions Interface (BSI) on ADS-2800W and ADS-3600W for third-party developers.
Salim adds, “there’s considerable expansion of the scan market as an increasing number of businesses seek to ensure more paper documents have digital counterparts.”
