Brother UK has launched a new series of high-end professional A3 business inkjets to complete its range of print solutions for SMBs.
The new X-series products, consisting of single function devices and flagship multifunction machines, are designed to support partner sales in both volume and value print. Meanwhile, ultra high-yield cartridges aim to open up revenue opportunities for channel firms with genuine supplies.
The printers will be a key part of Brother’s managed print service solutions, designed to help SMBs work more efficiently by providing better visibility and control of print across the business and reducing admin time by automatically ordering replacement inks and toners when needed.
Hassan Masaud, Product and Solutions Manager at Brother UK said, “the launch of the X-Series completes our professional print portfolio, which now features the full range of mono, colour, inkjet, A4 and A3 devices. This gives us and our partners a competitive edge in providing market-leading print solutions to businesses across a variety of sectors.
“With a low total cost of ownership and impressive cost per page when printing large volumes, the X-Series is ideal for SMBs that are looking for opportunities to reduce costs without compromising on quality. The range offers reliable, high-speed A4 printing with the added option to print A3 at no extra cost.
“With 30 years’ of experience in delivering award winning A3 inkjets, we’re confident that the new devices will help channel firms to take advantage of the business inkjet market’s 10 per cent year on year growth.”
The range has robust security standards with built-in features including IPsec support and access control that conforms to high-level security standards (IEEE 802.1x standards) and helps keep users’ networks protected. The printers’ intrusion detection capability means devices will automatically recognise attacks and take preventative measures to ensure systems are safe.
The X-Series also offers secure document sharing via SFTP, with encryption and password protection for data transfer and safe printing via SSL encryption. An easy to use Secure Function Lock 2.0 feature means IT managers can restrict certain machine functionality and print capabilities to designated users if desired. For commercially-sensitive documents, the optional SecurePrint+ feature also delays printing until the job is released with an assigned, NFC-enabled card.
Other end-user benefits include flexible paper handling, with up to 750 sheet paper capacity helping to reduce the need for intervention from employees and allowing them to focus on other tasks.
The range supports smarter working with a variety of connectivity options, including NFC and wireless, alongside AirPrint and Google Cloud Print compatibility. The models can be integrated with cloud services such as One Drive for Business, Google Drive and Dropbox, meaning they’ll fit easily into organisations’ existing workflows.
The X-Series printers have a straight-forward and intuitive user interface, with easy to set up web connect features and the option to print on a range of different media, from paper and card to prescriptions and POS materials.
