Designed to aid your employees’ comfort and wellbeing, Century Office’s new manual sit/stand desk, Raiz is operated by a crank mechanism, meaning that it doesn’t require any electricity to change its position from seated height to standing height. This therefore makes it more convenient and eco-friendly to run.
The lack of a motor also creates benefits in itself as there is no noise from the desk as it rises or when it's lowered. Additionally, the lack of electricity makes it even cheaper than an electric one and so it’s a great office solution if you are on a limited budget but still want to take your employees’ wellbeing into consideration.
Raiz’s maximum load weight is 70 kg, so there is plenty of allowance for all your desk necessities and the desk’s height can be adjusted between 715 mm up to 1140mm so finding a comfortable position to sit or stand is easy to achieve.
Like the Liberty electric sit/stand range, Raiz has two-part telescopic legs, and can also be specified in the same stylish finishes including oak, walnut, slate, and black. The frame itself is available in white or silver.
The desk will be available to buy from July.
