Dell to provide secure PCs using artificial intelligence

Dell Data Protection - Endpoint Security Suite Enterprise has been made available to proactively prevent advanced threats and malware using artificial intelligence and machine learning.

As the only endpoint security suite to integrate Cylance technology, the use of artificial intelligence to protect against threats and malware, it has been shown to stop 99 percent of malware and advanced persistent threats, compared to 50 percent rating by many traditional anti-virus solutions (according to Cylance testing).

Stuart McClure, CEO of Cylance said, "the combined Dell and Cylance advanced threat protection capability makes for the world's most secure computing platforms. Global organisations, through Dell, can now fell confident in their ability to prevent a cyber attack from being successful. Whether an errant email link via a phishing attempt, invisible web site malicious software download or advanced nation-sate targeted attack, we can stop them."

The new Endpoint Security Suite Enterprise is a single solution to help simplify endpoint security and compliance. As part of the solution, Dell has also announced the availability of a new post-boot BIOS verification for Dell commercial PCs with a 6th Generation Intel chipset, to ensure the device remains free from malware during the boot process. The BIOS verification solution will be integrated upon purchase of the Dell Data Protection - Endpoint Security Suite Enterprise licence.
