Visitors to the PPMA Show (26th – 28th September, NEC, Birmingham) will find a full range of labelling solutions on the Epson stand as the Epson ColorWorks desktop label printers and hands-free LabelWorks devices will be demonstrated. A new feature to look out for on the ColorWorks C3500 printer is the enhanced colour solution to provide users with greater image definition and better colour contrast.
The Epson ColorWorks range of inkjet label printers offer a solution for print on demand applications with users no longer having to order high volumes of labels but can print what they want, when they want at the point of production. The Epson LabelWorks range of mobile handheld label printers are designed for peripatetic applications such as installation operators, maintenance contractors, builders and plumbers. These models can produce high visibility safety, signage and magnetic shelf edge and racking labels. Typical applications include labelling for electrics, cabling (including audio and video cabling), data comms equipment, pipes and machinery. Finally, Epson will demonstrate its 4-axis robot. Epson has supplied commercial robots for over 30 years and this side of its business will continue to expand and provide innovative solutions to industry and the wider world moving forward.
Dayle Guy, Product Manager for Epson (UK) said, “the PPMA Show allows us to meet with technicians and engineers looking to integrate labelling into a manufacturing or production environment and we can be involved in projects from an early stage and guide them and offer choice. We have on demand labelling solutions that can meet the toughest legislative requirements, can help with practical and logistical issues and promote companies and their brands.
“Companies come to Epson, and return again and again, because of our colour expertise, the industry renowned reliability of our equipment, the fact we manufacture the hardware and also the printheads and ink, our extensive service back up and because the total cost of ownership (return on investment) is so competitive.
“There will be a focus on warranties and the Epson service cover plus plans. We anticipate a busy PPMA and welcome anyone interested in our comprehensive solutions. Epson equipment will also feature on the stands of our partners."
