Ergotron has appointed Paul Zuidema as Managing Director of Ergotron EMEA. Holding previous positions at the VDB Group, Steelcase and Royal Ahrend, Paul brings 30 years’ experience in workplace furniture, channel and partnership development to the role, together with senior-level leadership skills.
As businesses become more aware of the positive impact of well-designed workplaces and furniture on employee health and productivity, Ergotron is seeing increased demand for its sit-stand workstations, monitor arms and office solutions. Paul will, therefore, be leading efforts to build relationships with office furniture manufacturers and dealers, as well as workspace planners and architects in the EMEA region while supporting and expanding partnerships with existing clients and users in Healthcare, Education and ICT-related markets by bringing to them innovative solutions.
Paul said, “businesses and organisations will only realise the value of their investments in people and technology if they provide an agile working environment that respects individuality and enables employees to work with technology in a healthy and productive way. This is where ergonomics, the science of optimising the products that support us to do our work, can play a key role. Encouraging movement and supporting comfortable computing has been proven to enhance engagement and productivity. In this regard, Ergotron is perfectly positioned to support organisations with the right advice and kinetic workplace solutions to help businesses and their employees thrive.”
