HSM V-Press 504 baling press
Industrial-scale shredding and baling equipment provider, HSM, have been rewarded for their on-going commitment to health and safety with an accreditation from SAFEcontractor.
The SAFEcontractor programme recognises exceptionally high standards of health and safety practices amongst UK contractors and awards companies who meet these standards to protect employees and service users.
John Kinge, Head of Risk at SAFEcontractor said, “more companies need to understand the importance of adopting good risk management in the way that HSM has done. The firm’s high standard has set an example which will hopefully be followed by other companies within the sector.”
The accreditation means that the international firm can now enjoy a strong position to attract new business with its reputation of recognised risk management. John Hunter, Sales Manager for Environmental Technology at HSM said, “we have an excellent track record in this area and are committed to upholding the highest standards of health and safety.”
Coinciding with this latest news, HMS have launched a new baling press, the V-Press 504, which provides a cost-effective way for retailers and manufacturers to dispose of packaging that may be causing health and safety risks. The machine is controlled and operated by a microprocessor and can produce up to six bales of waste per hour whilst being continually monitored.
