Office supplies manufacturer, Jalema BV acquired Dataplus GmbH from Pfullendorf (DE), on Monday (April 15th). Dataplus operates in the field of printed and unprinted office supplies in the German Market. Jalema will continue the existing production lines of Dataplus, whilst it looks forward to expanding its client base in the Netherlands and abroad.
Joan Westendorff, Director said, “the beauty of Dataplus is the fact that we are not only expanding our machine park and range but are also going to serve new markets. For example, Dataplus makes menus for catering establishments and printed PP products for golf courses, among other things.”
Dataplus is strong in the production of products made of polypropylene (PP). The collection includes folders, ring binders, adhesive folders and collection boxes in various shapes and sizes. In addition, Dataplus frequently provides custom work for its customers.
Following the acquisition, Dataplus’s machine park will be moved to Reuver (NL) in the coming weeks. The layout of the factories in Reuver is being overhauled so that the production apparatus can be allocated as effectively as possible. Once the machine park has been moved to Reuver, production will be started as soon as possible. Jalema is promising to make the transition as smooth as possible for the existing customers of Dataplus.
