Kodak Alaris Information Management (IM) hosted its 2017 Partner Summit in Lisbon to more than 130 Value Added Resellers and Distributors. During the two-day event, sixteen partners from the Europe, Africa and Middle East region were recognised with awards, including three from the UK - Midwich, Data Capture Solutions (DCS) and Scansation.
The 2017 Partner Summit included a mix of presentations by Kodak Alaris senior executives and sales teams. The event featured breakout sessions and technical workshops where delegates were given a recap of 2016 business results, an overview of plans for 2017 and a preview of sales and marketing initiatives designed to help partners ‘grow together’ with Kodak Alaris. There was also a series of demos where partners could test drive the latest technologies.
Rick Costanzo, President and General Manager, Kodak Alaris Information Management said of the event, “it was important to bring together our regional partners and deliver a first-class experience, from our gala award dinner, to sight-seeing in the beautiful city of Lisbon, to networking and aligning behind our vision and a common set of goals. Based on the enthusiastic response from our partners, the event was a great success. We look forward to hosting it again next year.”
The Kodak Alaris Partner Awards which recognise excellence, growth and engagement of its top partners were presented during a gala dinner. Midwich was named Best Value Added Distributor. The Best Strategic Partner award was won by Scansation, a provider of document capture solutions and professional services. DCS, a Neopost company, picked up the Best Performance Partner award. DCS has a strong presence in mail room applications and uses Kodak Alaris scanners and service to support its document capture solutions.
Odile Silva Di Mascio, Kodak Alaris’ Partner Marketing and Campaign Manager added, “Midwich has outstanding industry knowledge and consistently creates value and generates demand within the channel for Kodak Alaris products. In 2016, they facilitated the completion of a number of large complex deals and played a key role in enabling Kodak Alaris to increase its distributed capture market share.
“Scansation is well-known for its expertise around software solutions and its highly trained sales team, which not only supports Kodak Alaris in hardware sales, but also in implementing our Capture Pro Software and Info Input Solution as part of larger projects.”
