Kodak Alaris Information Management (IM) has partnered with IMMJ Systems, expanding its information management ecosystem, to provide an integrated electronic document management solution for customers within the healthcare sector.
By working together, the partners’ areas of specialisation look to provide a comprehensive offering for Acute Trusts, looking to eradicate the use of paper across health and care services by 2020.
IMMJ Systems’ MediViewer electronic document management (EDM) solution was built specifically for UK healthcare organisations. It enables multiple healthcare professionals to easily search, retrieve and review any medical record simultaneously, while always keeping the clinical context of the original record.
Steve Clarke, EAMER Healthcare Solutions Manager at Kodak Alaris said, “Trusts are looking for complete solutions to solve their critical information management challenges as we move towards a paperless NHS, and by working closely with our partner community, we can offer the services and applications they need for greater productivity and success.”
Using Kodak Alaris scanners, healthcare organisations can scan paper records directly into the MediViewer EDM solution. MediViewer then indexes these records with essential metadata, which can then be searched by patient, content type or location. BS10008 compliant, MediViewer ensures the patient record cannot be deleted or altered in any way, as well as providing a full audit trail.
The Alaris IN2 Ecosystem of scanners, software, services and partnerships, is designed to take the complexity out of information capture, helping clients to transform data chaos into critical information to drive efficiency. It offers the latest scanners and integrated software designed to work together, partners with the right experience to deliver solutions at scale, and services to ensure clients stay protected and productive throughout their digitisation journey.
