Maped Helix have had two of their innovations shortlisted for an Education Resource Award at this year’s Education Show.
The two hopeful products include their unique educational Kidy’Board and their smart and fun colouring solution, Jungle Innovation. Both products have been shortlisted in the General Classroom Resource category and the overall winner will be announced at the Education Resources Awards at the Motorcycle Museum on March 18th.
Lianne Fletcher, Marketing Manager said, “we’re really proud of our products and their educational value. The complete range has education at the core whilst aiming to inject a sense of fun and colour back into the classroom. We’re excited to showcase the range to educational professionals and teacher’s at this year’s Education Show and give them a chance to experience them first hand.”
Maped’s Kidy’Board, the first transparent writing board, has has become a favourite amongst parents, children and teachers. The board was created in partnership with education professionals as a tool to encourage handwriting and meet the educational needs of younger children.
Maped’s Jungle Innovation has already collected two honours of Best Children’s Stationery Award and Special Innovation Award, at the National Stationery Show. The organisational tool keeps colouring pens altogether with its patented integrated caps and the safe and clever design reverts from a compact holder to a palm tree of colours making colour selection of the refillable pens an easy task.
Lianne adds, “it’s a real credit to our innovative work that both the Kidy’Board and the Jungle Innovation have been shortlisted for the award. The unique designs excite both children and teachers, adding a real element of fun into education. Maped Helix is dedicated to continue to create high quality products that inspire youngsters to learn and we’re delighted that our products are being recognised.”
Maped Helix will be exhibiting a selection of their coveted range of educational stationery products at the show, which runs from March 17th – March 19th at the NEC in Birmingham.
Throughout the three days, the National Stationery Week sponsors will be launching a range of new products and will have a variety of offers at the show. Their newly built stand will also feature a demonstration area for visitors to experience product benefits first hand.
Exclusive to education customers, the new Helix filled exam kit will be a hit with teachers and teens as exam season looms. The company will also showcase their new range of Graph’Peps Fine liners, perfect for teachers to plan months of lessons in advance and mark test papers over the Easter period.
