MCSA has won a place on the new Southern Universities Purchasing Consortium SSSNA framework (Servers, Storage and Solutions National Agreement) which supports IT procurement in the Higher Education sector. This win will enable MCSA to extend further into this sector with its vendor offerings, including object storage, converged and hyper-converged solutions.
MCSA won places on all 4 Lots of the new framework, that cover the provision of major purchases including, IT servers, storage and solutions, as well as associated maintenance and support.
Craig Fairs, Public Sector Sales Manager at MCSA said, “this win follows our successful track record in supporting Public Sector organisations, including the NHS and Scottish Government. Having successfully supported Newcastle University with their IT solutions, we are keen to accelerate our innovative, sustainable and high value solutions across this sector.”
The framework, which started in Nov 2016 and covers a 4-year period, acts as a one stop shop for the procurement of IT infrastructure under a pre-tendered agreement on behalf of a range of other buying groups. By procuring on the framework, Higher Education institutions benefit from consistently competitive pricing, along with quality service excellence, delivered via strict SLAs.
