Neopost Limited, one of the UK’s leading suppliers of mailing solutions, announced today, that after a competitive tendering process, via a fully compliant OJEU procurement, it has been appointed as a supplier to the national public sector Postal Goods and Services Framework Agreement RM1063.
The Framework Agreement is established collectively by Crown Commercial Service, YPO and ESPO and incorporates postal collection and delivery services, postal equipment and digital services. The framework’s estimated value, as published in the OJEU notice is between £400,000,000 and £1,500,000,000 across all seven Lots for the duration of the framework. This has been awarded for an initial period of three years, with an option to extend for a further 12 months. The scope of the contract allows approved to customers to procure through either direct award or further competition.
The company says that this new agreement offers customers significant savings in cost and efficiencies and offers a fully compliant procurement route, maximising visibility of price and quality. The benefits that can be derived from the agreement are fully aligned with the need to increase procurement efficiencies, whilst protecting the public purse. Critically, as well as supporting the effective procurement of traditional goods and services, the scope of the Framework Agreement also covers the changing needs of customers in an increasingly digital economy.
