Flipclip, a new patent pending stationery holder to accompany notebooks of any size, has reached its funding target with nearly two weeks still to go, following its Kickstarter launch.
Flipclip offers access to stationery wherever it is needed as it clips onto the front or back cover of any notebook to store stationery. The product allows for the notebook to be laid out flat on a desk, for when you are writing.
The product has now met its target on crowd-sourcing platform, Kickstarter, having set an original target of £6,000 with nearly two weeks still to go, and more than 500 backers so far. Kickstarter is a funding platform for creative projects and ensures no one will be charged for a pledge towards a project unless it reaches its funding goal.
Michael Ruthenbury, Developer of Flipclip said, “I am absolutely delighted that it has reached its target – it has exceeded all expectations. The reaction has been phenomenal with more than 500 backers pledging anything from £8 to £400.
“Whether on the move or at a desk, Flipclip can be attached securely to any of your favourite notebooks – so your pens and pencils are always to hand! And when your notebook’s finished just clip it onto your next one – and you’re away. I’m looking to raise money in order to invest in the highest standard of tailor-made moulds in the industry in order to produce the best possible product.”
