Fujitsu subsidiary, PFU (EMEA) Limited has announced a partnership with Expensify at this year’s Accountex, the European accounting convention taking place from 10th-11th May. ScanSnap Cloud is a new free service that enables users of the ScanSnap iX100 and ScanSnap iX500 to transmit scanned data directly to their favourite cloud service, with no computer or mobile device required.
Expensify develops software for receipt and expense management and offers accounting integration with the industry’s leading accounting and workflow tools. At the PFU booth, PFU will demonstrate the integration with Expensify, presenting an easy and automated way to send receipts from a ScanSnap iX500 or ScanSnap iX100 directly to Expensify via the ScanSnap Cloud service.
The Fujitsu ScanSnap iX500 and ScanSnap iX100 document scanners are part of the ScanSnap family that enable personal productivity. Both are wireless, including built-in Wi-Fi functionality, so users can completely unplug from PC, Mac or mobile device and scan wherever they please.
Tom Rhys Jones, Head of Business Development, EMEA at Expensify said, “we’re very excited to offer this integration to our UK customers, and we completely align with the ScanSnap mission of helping users digitise all documents within their business. By offering an easy and automated way to send receipts from a ScanSnap device directly into Expensify, this integration has revolutionised the antiquated process of manually scanning in paper receipts.”
Mike Nelson, Vice President at PFU (EMEA) Limited added, "ScanSnap is a personal productivity solution – simple to install and operate but with fantastic capabilities and new features being added all the time. Expensify is a great partner for us to help customers streamline their expense reporting.”
