For a second year in a row, Ricoh have been selected for the Silver Class in the sustainability ratings by RobecoSAM, global socially responsibility investment assessors.
Announced in their Sustainability Yearbook 2016, Ricoh featured in the Computers & Peripheral and Office Electronics category in which four others also scooped the rating. Ricoh scored highest on innovation management and privacy protection and scored silver ranking for climate strategy and environmental policy/management system categories, for a consecutive two years.
RobecoSAM assess the sustainability of around 3,000 major companies worldwide each year in areas of economy, environment and society, announcing companies to be included in the Dow Jones Indices. Those with outstanding efforts in sustainability are recognised with gold, silver, or bronze awards in their relevant industry; this year’s yearbook consisted on 77 gold class, 74 silver class and 97 bronze class companies.
Ricoh have now developed a new slogan ‘Driving Sustainability for Our Future’ with the aim to build on their sustainability, boosting its corporate value and meeting expectations of stakeholders.
