SC Johnson Professional is launching Ecover® and Method® products for professional users, bringing the UK’s two most socially and environmentally responsible brands[1] to the office market as well as small and medium independent workplaces for the first time.

Providing clean, fresh environments is something that customers and employees are concerned about; SC Johnson Professional’s survey showed that 48% of people believed that hygiene standards in public buildings and workplaces were not as good as they should be[2]. It can be a challenge to find ready-to-use, simple and straightforward products from brands that can be trusted, and are also sustainably focused. Today, professionals can now choose products from globally recognised brands, Ecover® and Method®, to help businesses make cleaning cleaner.

Ecover® and Method® products can maintain welcoming and sparkling spaces throughout the day, as well as being tough on grease and grime.

Ecover®: A focus on clean ingredients and clean packaging

Ecover® was founded in 1979 in Belgium, with an original mission to keep clothes in use and out of landfill. Ecover®’s original ecological factory in Belgium continues to produce Ecover® products today and is a zero waste certified facility[3], which means that it diverts 98% of solid waste away from landfill, incineration, and the environment, by reuse, recycling, and reduction projects. All SC Johnson Professional Ecover® products manufactured in Belgium are cruelty-free and powered by plant-based, biodegradable ingredients. All of the formulas are also vegan-friendly and the majority are housed in bottles made of 100% post-consumer recycled plastic[4] or boxes that are made of 100% recycled and recovered fibres.

Method®: Bringing joy to cleaning and hand hygiene products

Method® was founded in 2000, with a mission to break design rules but keep sustainability and joy at the heart of everything the company does. Similar to Ecover®, all SC Johnson Professional Method® products are formulated with the power of plant-based ingredients, and in packaging made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic[5], whilst they are also cruelty-free and vegan-friendly. The product range also gives hardworking hands hope, boasting iconic fresh scents that leave hands beautifully clean and smelling supreme with no overpowering smells.

These new additions sit alongside our other expertly curated brands that are trusted by millions; Mr Muscle®, Duck®, Glade®, and Pledge®, which when used as part of a cleaning routine can help keep workplace surfaces safe with high-performing, ready-to-use cleaning solutions.

For professional results that are sustainably focused, rely on SC Johnson Professional’s Trusted Brands to help make tough cleaning easy in your workplace or business.
