Sharp UK new products help offices adapt to the new normal

Sharp UK has launched a range of new technology solutions designed to support the safety of employees upon their return to the office. The new solutions include an updated Optimised Visitor Management system; the Communicate and Collaborate furniture range; and the Plasmacluster Air Purifier.

Ensuring a safe working environment for a workforce keen to return to the office has been a key challenge for business leaders in 2021. In June, Sharp surveyed more than 6,000 office workers in small-to-medium-sized businesses across Europe and found that over half (55%) claimed it was important for them to be able to meet with and work with colleagues physically. In addition, almost three in five (58%) said that working in a dynamic office environment had become more important since the pandemic.

Julian Hodges, Group Manager, Product Marketing at Sharp UK said, “the pandemic has brought a gauntlet of challenges for business leaders and a new threat landscape to company wellbeing. Now that the health risks are better understood, the expectation from employees is for their offices to be as COVID-safe as possible. At Sharp, we aim to provide businesses with the tools to create a safe workplace, and these new solutions are core to that mission.”
