Sharp/NEC to launch new collaboration displays

Sharp NEC Display Solutions Europe is launching the new Sharp LC Series collaboration displays with infrared touch technology in 65”, 75”, 86” model sizes.

The all-in-one display solution features pre-installed functionalities and state-of-the-art connectivity for instant interactivity, making it suitable for use in higher education scenarios at universities or in classroom training facilities at corporate offices.

The entry-level collaboration models from the Sharp LC Series are true plug-and-play solutions that support Bring-Your-Own-Meeting scenarios (BYOM): only one cable is needed to connect the displays to external devices via USB-C. With an additional HDMI output possibility users can link the LC models to projectors (e.g. in an auditorium) and easily forward content to external sources if the display size does not suit bigger audiences.

Ralph Kolen, Product Manager at Sharp NEC Display Solutions Europe said, “the Sharp LC Series is designed to boost engagement in classrooms at universities or in corporate training sessions. Therefore, we have made sure that the LC collaboration displays are equipped with different built-in smart functionalities which make them very easy to use. If required, the display can be enriched with an OPS-PC to enhance the computing power or remove the need for your own personal device. Additionally, the displays can be set up and managed remotely via NaViSet Administrator. Users benefit from all-in-one remote support and maintenance, reduced administration efforts and costs, as well as real peace of mind over the lifespan of their product.”
