Softcat launches new digital platform to improve customer experience

Softcat, an IT infrastructure solutions and services provider, has unveiled a new digital platform to improve the customer experience and simplify the world of IT.

Softcat's new website supports the company's ambition to disrupt the traditional IT space and offer customers the best introduction to its technology offerings and, importantly, the vibrant people behind them. The platform will also help keep Softcat closely connected with its customers and employees.

In terms of added functionalities, the platform offers a valuable content hub, full of useful resources for both new and existing customers. Podcasts, events, news stories and thought-leadership articles penned by internal experts will help to keep organisations informed on the technologies vital to operations today and those on the horizon.

Dedicated sector pages tailor the user-experience in line with Softcat's core customer segments – SMEs, large enterprises and public sector organisations – and their changing IT priorities.

Its solutions pages have also been revised and simplified in line with what organisations need from enterprise IT to navigate pandemic challenges and beyond, as identified in Softcat's latest Business Tech Priorities Report. These cover the key areas: Hybrid Infrastructure, Digital Workspace, Cyber Security, and IT Intelligence.

There have also been updates to the About Us section, promoting Softcat's industry-leading CSR and sustainability activities, as well as its exemplary approach to people management.

Richard Wyn Griffith, Softcat Managing Director said, "the new site promotes Softcat's offering as a leading IT infrastructure solutions and services provider. Our culture is all about the people and delivering world class customer service, and we want to not only give customers the best introduction to our technology expertise and value propositions, but also the culture and people who are behind delivering successful outcomes.  So, we have built the new site with this in mind. From the vibrant, people-centric visual design of the site through to the simplified and customer centric user experience."

James Baker, Alliances and Marketing Director at Softcat added, "We're all about partnership.  Our new site will more powerfully demonstrate how our solutions align with our corporate and public sector customers' priorities around Hybrid Infrastructure and Multi Cloud, Digital Workspace, Cyber Security, and IT Intelligence and how the power of our relationships with over 200 strategic partners will deliver the right support to them."

Softcat worked with Rawnet, a digital strategy agency, to deliver this truly differentiated online experience.
