VENT for Change, the environmental and ethical stationery brand has been recognised with three awards in as many months, including being named a Launch Pad 2019 winner.
VENT for Change prides itself on combining beautifully designed products with an ethical purchasing option for its customers. Proceeds from the sale of every VENT product sold go towards children’s education projects worldwide.
Set up by social and environmental entrepreneur Evan Lewis, Bristol based VENT for Change combines its support of global education with a range of notebooks and writing instruments made from recycled and sustainable materials, much of it produced in-house here in the UK. From its pencils produced near Stourport-on-Seven, from recycled CD cases, to its pocket books made using reclaimed coffee cup fibres, every item has a strong environmental message of its own.
Evan said, “we are delighted to have been recognised by the judges, this is further confirmation that purpose-led brands are making their mark in 2019 and we can’t wait to show off our range at the stationery show in London.”
As one of the Launch Pad 2019 winners VENT for Change will receive free exhibition space at the Stationery Show and promise to showcase up-coming ranges as well as its Ideas Collection.
The strong back-story that supports the brand identity caught the imagination of the judges. In addition to their stationery range VENT also organise Share a Pencil Day, a nationwide global education awareness day and an Ambassador for Change programme giving away thousands of pencils worldwide.
