Steljes Limited appointed UK distributor of SMART kapp iQ™

Steljes Limited has been appointed as the UK & Ireland master distributor for SMART kapp iQ, the only multi-way, interactive display that combines the simplicity of a traditional whiteboard with the power of a 4K display.

SMART kapp iQ incorporates a 4K display with a built-in whiteboard that enables multi-way inking between any combination of devices, anywhere in the world, simultaneously and therefore makes this one of the most exciting new product innovations from SMART Technologies, Inc. since the introduction of the original interactive whiteboard.

A revolutionary alternative to a traditional whiteboard, kapp iQ has the additional digital display element and can be powered by smartphone or tablet. Whether used in a formal meeting room, break-out zone or classroom, it allows attendees to display contents from their laptop or in-room device and project to the board. Participants can still ink and engage with the content from the board.

SMART kapp iQ also include all of the award-winning capabilities of SMART kapp. Participants can walk up and use the board just a like a regular whiteboard – only digital. And just like with SMART kapp, users can retain their notes, ideas and actions. The innovative SMART kapp app enables smartphones and tablets to be paired with the SMART kapp iQ board, so the content can be easily captured, saved and shared either during or after a meeting.

SMART kapp iQ also enables multi-way engagement, which allows every participant to not just see what is being written in real time, but each contribute in real-time as well. Users can also share information with peers or colleagues at the end of the meeting – or invite them to join during the meeting, even if they are in different rooms.

Neil Gaydon, president and CEO of SMART said: "The agreement is very much a mutually beneficial partnership. Steljes is the natural partner for this fantastic product in the UK & Ireland. They have immense regional expertise in both the Education and Enterprise markets. We look forward to continuing our strong relationship with a company that is so well positioned."

Martin Large, CEO, Steljes said: "We are delighted to be appointed as the master distributor of this exciting reimagined digital display. SMART kapp iQ is about true multi-way collaboration and epitomises how new innovations in technology can really change the way people work together. We're confident that this newest member of the SMART kapp family will be a welcome addition to our portfolio and will further demonstrate our commitment to driving the most revolutionary technologies into the marketplace."

SMART kapp iQ is available as either a 55" or 65" display. Customers can place their orders now and shipping of SMART kapp iQ begins in July 2015. The interactive board is quick and easy to install and no IT integration is necessary as it merely plugs into a standard power outlet.
