          Twelve months ago, we announced a new global branding strategy called ‘Together Information’. This is a complete go to market approach that captures the shift from traditional print and scanning methods and a product-centric focus, to a wider and more relevant solutions-based proposition around the efficient sharing of information.

          Together Information is the company’s vision for how people and organisations create, record, share, manage and display ideas and information. As part of this programme, we have channelled our focus on industry-specific solutions. Toshiba’s Business Services team supports this with expertise in solving business challenges through managed print and process improvement applications. This includes Toshiba Printing Solutions’ portfolio of print and multifunctional systems, management services and software solutions – but the key point of difference is this team’s focus on specific sectors.

          From legal, to financial, through healthcare and corporate markets, we have built up unparalleled levels of industry-specific knowledge. All of our consultants are aligned to specialist markets and remain committed to developing expertise and knowledge that helps clients make relevant and beneficial decisions.

          Our consultants truly understand the challenges and pain points clients in individual areas are facing, we have in-depth understanding of current trends, understand the unique nuances of a market and an integrated portfolio of industry-specific solutions.

          To support this vertical market focus, Toshiba Printing Solutions also created a new interactive website toshiba360.co.uk. Essentially a virtual city, the site highlights eight vertical markets - retail, transport/ logistics, healthcare, education, hospitality, manufacturing, utilities and legal/finance/ office - visitors can take a virtual tour, click on their sector and access Toshiba solutions specific to their business.

          In addition we have a range of sector-specific marketing materials and run a number of targeted campaigns. In May we kicked off with a legal campaign and in September will launch an additional campaign for the healthcare sector.

          Sustainability is also tightly embedded into the company. Our business processes, technology and products are all designed to help foster a more sustainable society. We continuously strive to reduce environmental impact throughout the product lifecycle; through the green procurement of environmentally compatible materials and parts, energy conservation and abolition of certain chemical substances, we systematically improve the ecological balance of our products. In addition, we consistently apply the 3Rs of sustainability - reduce, reuse, recycle wherever possible in our operations.
