Totalpost Services Plc has launched an end to end document handling system developed to help customers save money by streamlining processes and consolidating suppliers.
The system which has been termed “Lifecycle of a Document” incorporates many of the products and services that Totalpost provides such as print management and mailroom auditing.
The company is now able to advise customers on all aspects of document management from conception of the document through to printing, finishing (including folding and inserting) and mailing out. Additionally the company provides inbound mail services including returned mail processing and document archiving.
Totalpost is also a supplier of X-Ray security screening and as such provides mailroom security to protect busy mailrooms from hidden incoming threats within mail and baggage.
Totalpost has a long established history in the mailroom and print industry and has expanded further into this over the last 12 months. Totalpost partnered with Ricoh early in 2014 and now provides a full range of office printers, copiers and scanners as well as the latest print management software.
Late in 2014 the company acquired Mailing and Mechanisation UK Ltd and then became the UK distributor for Muller Paper Management and Handling early in 2015.
Speaking about the Lifecycle document handling system, Managing Director of Totalpost, David Hymers comments: “We are always striving to find new ways to help our customers save money. By bringing our services together under one system we are able to offer greater efficiencies to customers. We have been working on building a sensible document lifecycle system for some time and I am pleased that we now have all the elements in place to be able to provide this.”
