Vivitek has announced the successors to its ultra-short throw projectors with the introduction of the DH759USTi and D756USTi, offering increased ease of use, functionality and connectivity.
With their ultra-short throw lens, these projectors have been designed to be installed against walls with a short space to the screen, in the case of the D759USTi a maximum screen size 100” can be created from a 44cm distance. Users standing close to the projected image will also benefit as the lower eye glare impact and shadow interference will allow them a better viewing experience.
The new models have been designed with education institutions in mind as image can be clearly readable from the back of the classroom or teaching areas, while meeting a school’s typical space, budget and maintenance considerations.
With the complimentary NovoScreennote Interactive Whiteboard software, multiple students can work simultaneously on an assignment on the whiteboard and screenshots can be captured and retrieved again. To increase collaboration and interaction even further, the NovoPRO wireless collaboration device can be added to engage up to 64 participants at the same time, allowing them to share files and response to voting/polling questions. It also allows up to four students to share content spontaneously on the split screen from their connected devices.
The projectors are available with 5-year standard warranty or 5-year full coverage warranty which includes the lamp life time for an average of 5 years (18,000 hours). The D756USTi is available immediately at £949 excl. VAT. The DH759USTi is available immediately at £1379 excl. VAT with 5-year Education Warranty. Both projectors come with a 5-year Education Warranty on projector, 3-year or 2,000h on lamp (whichever comes first).
